Don -
I have had the same problem - Zat's solid, non-spring-loaded tensioner is
the only one that consistently works. And you can turn the engine over
backwards (should you ever want to) without skipping a tooth.

This is the same technology that many other manufacturers use - it is also
the technology of choice in race cars with belt driven cams.
