Fiat in NYT

In the Euro business section of today's NYT there is an article on FIAT's 
fiscal health and outlook. Seems, with another round of layoffs, some division 
selloffs and a bond float, they hope to be profitable by 2006...gulp.... 
Anyhow, the article also states that part of the plan relies upon some of their 
new models that will debut at that time, but does not specifically state from 
which auto division(s) they will emerge. So for you US importists, does it now 
look as though there is a plan, and as part of that plan do they intend to (re-
)start US sales in 2006?
