Milano Steering Rack Removal Tips

Sorry, but there aren't any!
Removing a steering rack from a Milano or GTV-6 is a real PIA!
I removed one once with the help and advice of a bonafide Alfa mechanic.
One of the more difficult jobs - if you turn it correctly it will come right 
out through the driver side aperture in the chassis/bodywork.
Use of a lift does make the job tolerable.
