Matt,

I'll pretend to know what I'm talking about...

8 Amps is the correct rating.  In fact they should all be 8 Amps.
You may have to hunt down a short.  According to my Owner's
Manual for my '77 Spider (should be the same for yours),
Fuse #5 takes care of:
"Instrument light - Engine compartment light - Parking light
and telltale - Warning lights"
I believe the last bit is for brake lights.

Now I'll let someone who really knows set me straight...
