GTV6 (/Alfetta/Milano) rear brake caliper rebuild?

after spending the winter in hibernation, i finally got the rear calipers
out of my wife's 6 this afternoon. clearly they need to be rebuilt.

i know there were some web pages on rebuild procedures, but i googled for
them and they all seem to be MIA. anybody got any pointers on where to
find a FAQ or HOWTO on the process?
