Don't know about the alfa shop in Brooklyn, but I have been very pleased 
with Guieseppe LeRoe at Alfa Import Center ( www.alfaimportcenter.com ) 
in Maspeth Queens which is on the border of Brooklyn and Queens so maybe 
the same shop.  Relatively easy to get to from NYC and very friendly and 
fair.

I have brought my Alfa to a local gas station here in Astoria, Queens 
and at the time the car passed no prob.  Whether he did what he was 
supposed to really do I dont know.  I do know that the car wasn't 
running right at the time too lean and lumpy idle so that may have 
helped (in this case)  Normaly I wouldnt just drop it off at anyone, 
talk to a few people who have cars serviced regularly and where they get 
them done.
