RE:NYC Alfa shops + inspection question

Whatever you do, don't take your Alfa to "just any mechanic." Not in 
New York City-- or you will learn a very painful lesson about the ways 
of autoexploitation. Take your car to Giusseppe at Alfa Import Center, 
981 Wyckoff Avenue, Ridgwood (Brooklyn at Queens border), NY, 
718-383-6764. He is trustworthy and extremely competent (He races a 
GTV6) and he's a straight shooter. Stay away from mechanics in 
Manhattan.
