It might.  The question is whether the '69 has a long column or short column box.  Early cars had the long column and later ones had the short column; 1750s were transitional, as in other things. The easy way to check which box is in the spider is to measure the distance between the steering wheen and the opening for the turn signal stalk.  If it's about 1/4", you have a short-column box.  This means you can use the Burman box from the '74 GTV or any other steering box from a later Alfa, including the ZF box from later Spiders.
