I have not followed this thread from the beginning, so this possibility may have been examined already...

...have you looked at the 6 ignition coils or the fragile-looking wires and connectors going to them?

Also: My '95 164LS has started acting a little rough for the first few seconds of a cold start. I will keep the Digest posted if it gets bad enough to seek professional help.
