Milano V6 to Alfetta

The reason that i'm doing a lot of work on the Alfetta (sorry... it is a GT) 
is because it was free. That and its kind of a test of wills; mine versus 
fate's. Is there an easier way to get a v6 into it? I somewhat regret not 
having just purchased a GTV6 that i came across several years ago, however i 
did not have the funds then. So back to it then. Is there an easier way 
that's been done? I'd rather not start switching out guages and modifying 
linkages et al. Does anyone know if i even need to switch the transaxles? 
How much power will the Alfetta's actually handle? that would solve some of 
the problems.  PLease keep the advice coming... The Milano's a steal, and if 
i do proceed with this, i don't want to miss my chance.
