RE: 1991 164: left side windows

It is a high possibility the window control module's delay(s)
has failed. The circuit board and delays looks pretty cheap
and fragile.

Subject: 1991 164: left side windows

are there any common electrical problems that might cause both left side
windows on a 164 to stop at the same time?

it's had problems with the switches in the console for the rear windows
since i bought it, but i hadn't gotten around to opening that up and
cleaning things out. i have still been able to work the rear windows with
the switches in the doors, but a couple of days ago, both drivers side
window abruptly stopped doing anything.

i see a common fuse, but visual examination doesn't show a problem. i have
heard reports from MB folks that there seem to be issues with old fuses so
i'll probably try replacing the fuse just to see what happens, but i'm
wondering if there's anything else i should consider. anyone have any
thoughts?
