chassis stiffener

here is my experience with the chassis stiffener.  i had an 81 spider that
handled fairly well. i upgraded to 15" phone dial wheels from a 91 and the
ride went to hell. some scuttle shake and with the top down, you could look
at the driver side door gap as you rode on rough roads and see the gap
opening and closing( a lot).  the stiffener brought the ride back to better
than it was before the new wheels, with much more stable door gaps on bumps.
i later sold the car, but kept the stiffener. its now on my very tight 74
spider. it didnt really need it, but its there anyway, i liked it so much on
the other car.
