RE: Cleaning very dirty wheels

I use very very fine steel wool to clean any corrosion off of one of my
vintage 9mm handguns. I mention this because the fit and finish of this
particular piece is outstanding and very fine steel wool works without
destroying the bluing/finish. 

I would imagine that this would work on your wheels as well and you
definitely wouldn't have to worry about scratching them. I dunno, just a
thought...
