These are stinky damn cars. In addition to the other posted responses I
have found that the best way to keep gas fumes out of the cabin of my 87
is to keep the gas cap on tight (really). I do get a gas smell when
cruising with the top up and the drivers window down. Cant find a leak
anywhere. Maybe it is an exhaust leak and not a gas leak. Do exhaust
leaks smell like gas? Well, it is always something.
