I'm not a big fan of IAP, but if you need BMW parts, try Maximillian Importing Company in Baltimore. I remember their phone number as:

1-800-950-2002

They bring in their own containers of OEM parts from Germany a few times a week. It's been a good while since I had my last M3, but Max was always good to me. I believe there is also a BMW Digest, and if it's anything like the Alfa Digest, they'll know all the good parts vendors.
