I am about to purchase some light fixtures for the new garage and was
wondering what other options I might have.

I recently bought some 500 Watt fluorescent shop lights from Wallmart
that use
only 68 Watts electricity. They are extremely bright and very white and
only
about $15. They are about 12" x 10" x 6" with a switch and 5 ft power
cord.
Perfect for my garage and cheap to run.
