Electric Blower

This might have been discussed before, but I came across an electric blower
that fits in front of the AFM and is triggered at WOT to send between 1-3lbs
of boost at the intake.    The site is http://www.electricsupercharger.com/

My initial reaction is sounds hokey.   They run about $300 and claim 5-15%
hp boost, though they offer no money back guarantee of results.

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this?
