the electric fan draws power from the alternator. where does the alternator
get it? from the engine.

now, what is the efficiency of the alternator in making electricity, and
what is the efficiency of the fan in converting electricity back into
mechanical energy?

there is no such thing as a free lunch.

these things have been around for a while. they're bogus.
