Odysseys and performance

Check out the tires on the E Type before you ascribe too much to the 
engineering of the Honda. Granted the Odyssey is "just" an Accord on 
steroids, but it is the development of tires more than any other single 
factor that accounts for the superior performance of modern vehicles.

Now the Odyssey does have plenty of power from its Honda V6, but not as 
much as the Jag.

Compare that old Jag to the modern S type, and don't bother bringing the 
Honda to the race. Or find a way to put proper wheels and tires under that 
E Type and stand back.
