ABS Question

My Milano Platinum has a problem I have never encountered before and I
assume that it is related to ABS - or not!

This afternoon the brake pedal dropped about an inch or so from its normal
level. And it stays there! Except for less brake pedal travel, there is no
seeming change in brake operation. The biggest problem, for now, is that the
brake lights are always on (unless I physically raise the pedal).
