Re: BEWARE of EBAY SELLER

I have learned the hard way, a victim of "aceman2001", who deals on Ebay. I
bought a Lancia 5-spd. transmission and sent the money via Postal Money
Order. This was a transaction OUTSIDE of Ebay, unfortunately. For months
he gave every excuse in the book why he hadn't shipped. In the meantime I
learned he has a past record of being charged with fraud after
"misappropriating" more than $50,000. as a securities dealer. You can view
the SEC and State of Mass. legal case documents yourself via search engine
on the 'Net.

Armed with this information I threatened further legal action, so he finally
shipped the transmission, which it turns out is NOT a 5-spd. as stated, but
a 4-spd. like I already have. This has cost me $715. Legal expenses will
be on top of this if I pursue.

A friend of mine was simultaneously dealing with him for Alfa parts. He
never shipped all the parts, and those he did were junk. My friend is
trying to get a refund of his $435. His deal has gone on longer than mine.

This is not sour grapes, it is a warning to others that you should pay close
attention to his Negative Comments on Ebay. "Aceman2001" is Carlo D'Alelio,
doing business as European Legends, 26 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA 01915,
formerly located at 7 Rantoul St., Beverly, and also Gloucester, MA.
