Anyway, how about locating pieces of rubber radiator/heater hose to use
as round sanding blocks?

And, on another (slightly risqui) digest topic:  You can "do it" in the
front seat of a 60's 70's era GTV but on cold nights you gotta be REAL
careful of that cold steel handbrake lever.
