Is there a light on the 164 auto .shifter console?.

Subject: Is there a light on the 164 auto .shifter console?.


Greetings:
Just purchased a '93 164L for my wife and she
can't see the shifter console in the dark!
Is there a light there? Do those tiny dots by the
P R N 3 2 1 light up?
The owners manual doesn't show it.
Personally  I count the knotches but she has to
SEE  it. (Like in the American cars!)
