TS fit in other cars

I've seen Kelly's TS Spider, and it has a pretty good bulge in the hood
to clear the engine. People have pointed out the lack of clearance on
that model. Glenn Oliveria and I did some
rough-but-we-thought-reasonably-reliable ballpark measuring on his 67
GTV, into which he plans to put the TS he got from Kelly, and it looks
like vertical clearance should not be a major issue; maybe some minor
trimming.

I would think the same is true of a Berlina with its very wide and tall
engine compartment (begging for a Montreal V8, really), and a Giulia
sedan, with the possible exception of the bulky spring-loaded center hood
prop. I seem to recall that later Giulias got a small fold-up side hood
stay like 67 GTVs, and I've seen that mod done to an early car for 2000
engine clearance reasons, though I don't think it was required. I've got
a 1750 in my Super, complete with the original cross-over air duct, and
it fits fine under the hood.
