91S starter problem
Sorry but Jason's way off on this one.
The main battery power to turn the starter connects directly to the starter side of the solenoid, but is shunted to the starter motor when power, via the ignition switch, is applied to the switch side of the solenoid.
To test the starter apply power to the solenoid where the wire from the ignition switch attaches. If the starter cranks then it's ok. Then test the Ignition switch. See if you get power (use a test light) at the same wire with the ignition switch in the cranking position. Everything is 12 volts.
