Clutch lever removal
Hi,
The "bolt" you are referring to is actually a cotter pin made famous
by its use on bicycle crank arms of long, long ago. Replacements can be
found at a good bike shop. You'll need one since you've been pounding the
threaded end into oblivion trying to get it out. It was probably over
tightened by your P.O. and now needs to be pressed, rather than hit to be
removed.
I've never tried it, but there is a clam-like tool used to remove tie
rod ends that has a split that would allow the round end of the cotter to
push out while you screw down on the threaded end. It just might work if
you have room.
