Milano rear brakes

I replaced the front brake pads with no problem but the rears are another
story. I got the pins out and the spring out but can't get anything to budge
insofar as getting the old pads out. I tried turning the nut on the side in
both directions to no avail. Can someone walk me through the procedure or send
me to a site where it is explained? Thanks much.
