and present whereabouts of the Montreal that Bobcar raced in the 70's?" 

The Bobcor Montreal is currently in Huntington Beach, California, and has
been owned by Jerry Galich for a number of years. He brought back from El
Salvador (!), where a gentleman with a private race track had it. Since
then, he had the car body stripped, and painted with primer; he also had new
replacement radiator, wheel flares and air dam built of aluminum. The Auto
Delta motor with the flat crankshaft and Lucas injection is still  in the
car, but needs rebuilding.

Now here's the REALLY scary part, for all of us Alfisti: the car is for
sale, and with many spares (fiberglass hood, complete differential, doors,
etc.). If anyone is interested, or knows of someone who could restore this
important car, please contact me off-Digest.
