Re[3]: 164 timing belt AARRGGHH

[there's a question at the end]

ok, crowfoot won't work. take off the hose, let the fluid dump into a big
rag, loosen the bolt, and go to reinstall the PS pulley.

one of the 6mm bolt heads shears off -- and this was while being torqued
with a box end wrench of the correct length !?!?

find a hardware store with a good metric hardware selection that's open at
3pm sunday afternoon, and lay in a supply of the correct 6mm bolts. replace
all three on the PS pump.

go to reinstall the serpentine belt. try the spring compressor trick for
tightening that someone suggested a week or so back. it works great with my
spring compressor.

now i need to reinstall the rear inner fender plastic. i can't for the life
of me figure out a way to get it to go back into all the spots it needs to
fit. i can get the bottom rear section engaged with the body work but only
if i ignore the fit around the top of the strut. anyone have a good method
for reinstalling this part?

thanks,
  richard
