Wayne,

I will put my 2cents in for the Yoho Avid H4's.  I have had them on my 
74 GTV(was used as a daily driver).  My brother has these tire on his 97 
VW Jetta and his 87 Milano Plat daily driver.  I loved them.  They were 
fantastic in the rain. I drove home in the GTV on the NYS thruway at 
80mph in a driving rain storm with no hydroplaning.  They stop and turn 
very well for an all season mid performance tire.  They are quiet too. 
My brother swears by them.  Put them on both his cars after driving the 
GTV with them.
