While the electronic Spider speedometers have their problems, this sounds more
like a mechanical problem.  Look carefully, is the needle rubbing on the gauge
front?

BTW, the speedo is on the same fused circuit as the cigar lighter on these
Spiders...weird, and occasional cause of speedo failure.

"3) Only the driver's power window works, but it's way slow going up or
down.  Is this typically an adjustment issue, or might it be low voltage,
lubrication, failing motor, something else?"

Any or all of above.  Could even be corrosion on the button on the dash.
Could also be rotting out rails inside the door...
