No. The L-Jet V6 should be among the quickest older EFI cars to spring to life--essentially instantaneously. Is your problem dependent on the weather? Is it just a cold-starting issue? If yes, check the cold start injector and thermo-time switch. Vacuum leaks are also a common cause of hard starting.
