15 lb-ft. that sure is not a lot, I usually give my 74 Spider a good
turn with the wrench. Well, I guess that that is what you get for buying
a car with a Fiat block......

issue
has cropped up in this months AROC (UK) newsletter regarding stripped
threads
on various Alfa sump plugs, and a number of 156 owners have chipped in
having
suffered this problem.  Alfa specify that the sump plug should be
tightened
with a torque wrench to 15lb/ft. any more and you risk stripped threads
in the
sump with the choice of helicoil or new sump.
