164 temp sensor problem

Alfa issued a tech note to their dealers about this problem. It seems the 
wiring harness was a tad short where the connector for the temp sender on 
the thermostat housing was supposed to connect. Apparently there are two 
senders on the thermostat housing, one for the warning light and one for 
the temp gauge,  and one on the water pump housing just below the 
thermostat housing. The lower one is for the Motronic. Check the wiring 
reaches all three connection points.
