This topic comes up frequently.  If the engine is in the car and you want to 
keep it that way than the easiest thing to do is doublenut the offending 
studs, remove the studs, and the water pump will come right out.  Removing 
the crankshaft pully while in the car in unnecessarily complex.  When 
reinstalling the new pump you can either reinstall the studs or use the 
proper size bolts.
