Re: Need parts

Hi Tony:

I've had Alfa's with the restrictor, without the restrictor, and with the restrictor in backwards. I'll be damned if I could ever notice a difference, but my '74 Spider has got one installed correctly. If you squeeze the bulging area of the hose, it's near the bottom end, you'll feel it if it's there. Every once in a while you'll see one on eBay. Here's a link to an i Saluti article about the device:

As for the Spica airbox gasket, aircraft parts suppliers sell a similar item for panel edges. Try

They offer a free catalog that has both racecar and aircraft stuff.

Regards,

Dean

Finally got a grip on my bypass hose (hey, watch it!), and discovered
that there is nothing inside. I assume I should be able to feel the
presence of a bypass restrictor in there.

Where to get such an odd little part?

I also need a replacement for that thin gasket that goes around the lip
of the Spica air box under the removable end.

Anyone?
