Re: Cheap 164 Front motor mount option

Mike,

There is still an easier way. (Never told anyone about this lest I be
accused of adulterating the breed.) Instead of paying the rediculous price
for the passenger front MM ($185 and up) you can use the same mount as on
the rear passenger side (sells for about $38). The mounting pattern is
exactly the same. All I had to do was cut some of the flange to conform to
the space of the front mount (actually you don't have to do that but it made
it look more like the proper mount). I know the front mount is suppose to
be oil filled and special, but it works and is still woring on my 164S after
over a year.
