Please, please don't buy a MAC

(I'll throw in some Alfa stuff at the end)

I too have been receiving some interesting emails lately. In the past,
I'd reply to the sender telling them they had a problem 'down there'.
Now I don't bother.

Apparently the disease is worldwide. I received an email the other day
from Securon, the English seatbelt manufacturer, who I've exchanged
emails with. Apparently a courier will be bringing me (free?) samples
any day now. They say they look forward to hearing from me. Interesting
in that my last email to them suggested some modifications to their
diagonal seatbelts. Their reply at that time was they would take my
suggestions 'under consideration'.

While Bill's Window's backdoors are wide open and apparently the
unwitting are bent over, pants down around their ankles, and all
buttered up (sorry about the verbal imagery), apparently MAC's do have
their vulnerabilities.

My MAC guru guy says that for the most part the nasty little diseased
hackers concentrate on Bill's stuff, since he unfortunately (in this
case) was better at marketing. Still if too many of you start watching
the current MAC commercials and responding...

Therefore...when you have extra money to spend, run down to your 'local'
Alfa restoration shop and order a complete make-over (for the Alfa). (An
address can be supplied upon request).

Epilogue: That does not mean to say the Alfa engine must remain stock,
nor even must the original Alfa engine be inserted into the bowels of
the original vehicle. I personally feel fours go into fours and six's go
into six's. However, doesn't mean a TS four can't go where a SS (Single
Spark) was before, nor a 3.0 can't go where a 2.5 once resided. And then
we have superchargers and EFI's and...
