Only things I can think of to add is to pull the clutch slave out of the
trans.  You might have considered that part of "disconnect all wires and
cables", but just in case.  Also disconnect your exhaust.  I found it easier
to split it just past where the downpipes join (about even with the rear of
the trans, I did this with a hacksaw because new exhaust was part of the
plan), then I disconnected the downpipe from the manifolds after I had the
engine lifted up a foot or so -- gave me much more room to reach those
stubborn bolts.

I'd turn the car around to have the front face the garage door.  Better to
have unlimited maneuvering room in my opinion.
