Is this for the gasketed windshield, or the glued in windshield?

For glued in, I have no idea how to save the trim.

For gasketed, cut the gasket from the front. Slide a razor knife under
the gasket, against the glass, and work your way around. Eventually the
trim will pop right out, keep cutting, that's the easiest way to get the
glass out without breaking it as well.

For installation, assemble the windshield, new gasket, and trim. Place
a long piece of string in the gasket channel, with the ends of the
string crossing each other in the middle of the bottom. Insert the
assembly in place, with the gasket channel placed over the ridge across
the bottom.

From the inside of the car, pull on the strings, a little at a time on
each side, working your way around to pull the gasket over the ridge.
With any amount of luck, you'll make it all the way to the middle of the
top.
