Giulia berlina becomes chic

The Giulia berlina is having a well-deserved moment in the public eye
(well, sort of), thanks to attention in two British classic car magazines.
The August issue of Classic and Sports car features a comparison of the
Giulia Super and the BMW 2002. The writer wisely doesn't try to decide
which of the cars is "best," but his impressions are quite complimentary to
the Alfa, which is described as "the first true sporting saloon."

The first 105, the Giulia TI, is the subject of an article by Martin
Buckley in the July issue of Thoroughbred and Classic Car. Buckley says
"the Giulia Saloon might be the best Sixties Alfa" and describes it as--get
this--"fashionable in discerning circles today."

There you have it. If you own one, hang onto it; if you want one, get it
now, before Giulia mania drives prices through the roof.
