Re[2]: 164 fuel smells

thanks to everyone for the advise; i'm probably going to take it all and
condense it into a single article on the subject.

in the particular case of my car, the previous owner confirmed that he'd
swapped in the 8mm NAPA line for the OE stuff. i checked under the hood
this morning and the hose clamps were all slightly loosened. i tightened
them up and in a brief drive, nearly all of the smell was gone.

i'll order a couple of meters of the correct line, and pay attention next
time we fill it in case there's trouble back there.
