164 Idler Pulley

Have to replace the idler pulley on my 91 S.  The Old digest mentions a Fiat replacement (P/N) 4443446 that is used on the 124.  The pulley is a match (and beefier 2 races vs. 1 for the Alfa part) for the exterior dimensions.  However, there are two top-hat looking busing that mount into the center.  THe bushing are too small for the FIAT part.  Has anyone out there done this (FIAT part half the price of Alfa part).   If so, what did you do about the mounting bushings.  Other options welcomed.
