 Tony, I had this done on my 84 Spider at the end of last season. The AC 
hasn't worked in the 4 years that I have had the car (no telling how long 
before that). Had an excellent auto AC mechanic do it. We replaced the 
compressor, condensor, evaporator & changed the freon, & tightened all of the 
fittings. It has been working like a dream ever since. Good Luck !

Subject: Spider air conditioning

I was wondering if anyone in the group has converted there A/C from R-12  to 
the newer type of refrigerant. Is it simply a matter of using one of those 
kits available at Walmart?
