US Alfa Ads

Seems like there was a GM truck ad with an Alfa in it a few years ago.
I'm too lazy to look thru the AD archives, maybe someone else remembers
more about it.  It ran at the same time as the GM pickup truck ad ran
that had a Fiat Spider in it.  The Spider driver take his spider to the
home improvement store for a 4x8 sheet of plywood, drives away with the
plywood strapped to his car with a hole cut in it for his head to stick
out.  No such problem with a GM truck!

Also, there was the Official Car of Summer Spider ads from around 1989.
I remember seeing that ad over and over on ESPN's coverage of the 1989
French Grand Prix.
