The problem as I see it, is not that 185/70s are hard to find.  The
issue is finding a tire in that size that is worth a s***.  There are so
many that I have seen that look SO cheeep, and they are inexpensive, as
well.  To find one that would be worthy of living in you wheel wells
seems more important.

Unfortunately, 70-series tires are getting harder to find.  A reasonable
substitute in a somewhat more modern size is 195/65-14.
