i saw this ad, & it was really quite disgusting - the worst part was some crack made by the police about the poor performance of the car, that allowed their superior-performing chebbie to keep up...  what a crock of s**t.  the alfa's *breakdown* was a flat tire...  

i wonder if gm was allowed to blaspheme alfa this way cuz of their stock swap deal w/fiat...

I don't have a TV, but a friend just called to say that he saw a
Chevy Impala ad on NBC featuring an Alfa 164 that breaks down and
gets caught by the police in their reliable Chevy.  I'm sure some of
your fancy TV-owning digesters will post the full scoop, but I wanted
to be the first (although I'm probably not).
