  Why would membership in the Alfa Romeo Owners Club cost $60 a year? Come 
on folks, let's see the books! How much are you paying people and for what 
products? ;-)
  I did a quick search on car clubs and can't find any that are near the 
cost of AROC. The Audi Quattro Club is closest at $40, Citroen Car Club-$20, 
Buick Club-$35, VW club-$20 (includes a free club t-shirt!), Lincoln 
Continental Club-$30, Nash Club-$26, sheesh, even the BMW CCA is only $35! 
The aforementioned National level clubs cover various membership sizes and 
car types so please don't say it's because we are a "small" group .....
  There is no local chapter for me down here, for $60 a year I would get a 
mediocre newsletter/magazine that shows up anytime during the month, usually 
2-3 weeks into that month! I have been a member in the past, I have 
submitted articles and photos also, I've been to a couple National events 
and have enjoyed them. I just can't see why it has to cost so much. Anyone 
have an answer?
