Kind of off topic, but what sort of computers do you folks use?

I'm a computer engineer who specialises in cross platform stuff, but I 
use
macs at home and I think they are driven by the same sort of things as
Alfas.  They don't dominate the market, but have a design cool that other
strive for.  People run then down for various reasons, as they do with my
poor little 33, but it's reliable and a buttload of fun.

Just curious if the Alfa drivers are more practical with their computing
needs.
