rubbing compounds

If you are a newbie at polishing, get an orbital buffer, or strong arm
and a bottle of 3m Finesse-it swirl mark remover.

This stuff is ultra fine, and looks wet aftre a buff, but the real plus
for a rookie is that you will not take off too much surface. The stuff
is great for oxidation removal.

It also works great after a 2000 grit wet sand, and makes all those ugly
spidre webs go away.

Don't use an overly aggressive compound, or you'll just remove all of
your paint. Not fun....
